About Valuestimate

Built by Parth Shitole — an independent financial data and education platform.

Our Mission

Valuestimate was built to solve a simple but expensive problem: most founders and online business owners have no reliable way to understand what their business is actually worth in the current market.

Acquisition multiples have historically been guarded by brokers and private equity firms as proprietary intelligence. We believe every founder — regardless of whether they are actively planning an exit — deserves access to accurate, up-to-date valuation benchmarks before sitting down at any negotiation table.

Who We Are & Our E-E-A-T Commitment

Valuestimate was founded and is operated by Parth Shitole, a financial analyst and software engineer based in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. Parth specializes in data modeling for the online business mergers and acquisitions (M&A) space. Having analyzed transaction histories, valuation multiples, and deal structures for hundreds of online acquisitions across SaaS, digital agencies, and ecommerce, Parth built this platform to bring institutional-grade valuation models to independent founders.

Before launching Valuestimate, Parth spent years developing analytical tools and processing private equity transaction data, identifying the key qualitative and quantitative levers that drive online business multiples. The algorithms and database powering Valuestimate's calculators are directly modeled after the proprietary valuation frameworks used by leading M&A brokerages and private equity buyers.

Our commitment to E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) means that every valuation formula, blog post, and market update is backed by real transaction data and professional financial analysis. We do not use speculative multiples; our benchmarks are continuously calibrated against verified exits in the current market.

Our Methodology

We do not use arbitrary rules of thumb. Our valuation models are powered by aggregated, anonymised data sourced from:

  • Public marketplace transaction records — acquisition data from platforms that publish deal multiples and exit structures.
  • Private brokerage market reports — quarterly summaries from established M&A advisories covering the lower-middle market.
  • Industry research — analysis from financial data providers covering SaaS, ecommerce, and digital media sectors.

We update our baseline multiples regularly to reflect macroeconomic conditions, interest rate cycles, and sector-specific buyer demand. Our calculators currently run on 2026 market data.

Important Disclaimers

Valuestimate provides educational estimates for informational purposes only. Our outputs do not constitute financial, legal, investment, or tax advice. Actual business valuations depend on many factors including buyer demand, deal structure, due diligence findings, and macroeconomic conditions at the time of sale.

We strongly recommend consulting a licensed business broker, M&A advisor, or certified financial analyst before making any decisions regarding the sale, purchase, or restructuring of a business.

Why Is It Free?

Our core valuation tools are completely free to use — no account, paywall, or credit card required. We are able to offer this because Valuestimate is supported by display advertising and, separately, because some users who find our tools useful choose to work with vetted third-party brokers and platforms they discover through our educational content. We may receive compensation in those cases, at no extra cost to the user. See our Terms of Use for our full affiliate disclosure.
